We're on the hunt for an experienced Event Coordinator to help us with our upcoming wedding season and summer rush. We are looking for someone who will bring a strong sense of professionalism and organisation to the role; who will help bring our dynamic event offering to life; and who is eager to work alongside senior management and ownership to increase the profile of the venue and their own skill set.

Must haves

We take a flexible approach to hiring – but we do have a few non-negotiables. These are the basics we need all candidates to bring to the table. You will:

  • Be comfortable managing a large team within a busy venue
  • Have experience planning and managing physical resources and personnel across multiple spaces
  • Be ready to take the lead on managing set up and pack down for events of all shapes & sizes
  • Ensure timely delivery of all elements of an event and adapt to unforeseen circumstances

Bonus points

We will give you bonus points for the following:

  • Experience with the 7 Rooms booking system, IMPOS & Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with large scale weddings

Attitude & passion

At the end of the day experience is important to us – but is not a deal breaker. We believe that passion, attitude and a desire to learn are just as important as your last workplace.
