About the Role:
Caraniche is seeking a highly capable and people centric 'Office Manager', to lead its front of house operations, manging the office facilities and coordinating purchasing activities across Caraniche at our Abbotsford and Epping offices.
Reporting into the Office of the CEO, you will have the ability to make an impact, by supporting the overall workplace and maintain strong relationships with staff, vendors and supplier.
Furthermore, responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
- Manages the reception team and staff roster across Abbotsford to ensure appropriate coverage across the week to manage calls and greet clients.
- Manages offices leases and coordinates all liaison and communication with landlords and real estate agents
- Understands insurance requirements and takes responsibility for reporting accidents and lodging claims.
- Manage the office supplies budget, ensuring all expenditure is cost effective, within budget, and approved in line with Delegation of Authority policy
- Supports an understanding of duty of care and ensures safe work procedures and instructions are provided to all staff.
- Participates in and coordinates projects as required.
What we are looking for:
- At least 3 years previous experience in an office manager or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience managing facilities and service and supply contracts.
- Intermediate level in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Demonstrable experience in using relevant other software systems and databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
