PLC Hardware was incorporated in 2009 and is a parallel importer and independent distributor of automation hardware. Australian-owned, PLC Hardware is trusted by some of the biggest names in the manufacturing, mining, and process industries. We have long-term loyal customers because we provide reliable customer service, technical support, and realistic pricing for hardware. PLC Hardware has experienced rapid growth over the last few years and has great potential for further growth.

About the roleThe successful candidate will be involved in the development and support of new and existing clients. The day-to-day duties would entail:

-     Follow up of potential new customer enquiries that arrive via the website or via   email.

Account management - Calls to existing customers for promotions and to see if they have any current enquiries.

Follow up of assigned customer quotes

Calls to potential new customers to explain how we can assist them with competitive pricing

Qualifications:Electrical trades or industrial background would be beneficial but not essential.

Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or telemarketing role.

Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers quickly.

Previous experience using a CRM system.

Ability to review and submit prospective customer RFQ's to our sales dept and value add where possible.

Be able to review quotes for accuracy and promptly follow up.

Creativity in problem-solving.

Ability to show previous experience in achieving the highest customer satisfaction & support

Ability to be an outstanding professional who can represent the business in a direct customer role.

Ability to prioritise time to maximise effectiveness and outcomes.

Ability to develop business and drive new opportunities through creative sales techniques

Be socially connected and know how to leverage various platforms efficiently for

opportunities
