At Little Zak's Academy, we are passionate about providing exceptional early learning and care across New South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia. With over 49 centres and continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our leadership team to work along side our Head of Centre Operations

About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Manager will:

  • Oversee a portfolio of childcare centres, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with all regulations.
  • Partner with Centre Directors to drive occupancy growth, staff engagement, and strong educational outcomes.
  • Lead operational excellence through effective people management, budgeting, and resource planning.
  • Implement initiatives that enhance centre culture, performance, and community reputation.
  • Work closely with the wider leadership team to achieve strategic goals aligned with our expansion plans.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven leadership experience in early childhood education, operations management, or a related sector.
  • Strong knowledge of NQF, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational support.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced, growing organisation.
