About the role

An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced Major Account Manager to join Onsite. Based out of our WA Head Office in Wangara and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring the safe and successful delivery of our contractual obligations for our key client's across Western Australia.

This role will challenge you to use your problem solving skills, whilst allow you the platform to showcase your ability to influence and drive a positive safety-first culture.

Travel between our extensive branch network, as well as to our Key Client Sites in regional WA will be required.

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as primary point of contact for the client and contract, ensuring first class internal and external customer service is provided at all times
  • Manage all Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements pertaining to the contract, including the demonstration of in field visible safety leadership
  • Develop quotes and rental agreements for the contract in the system
  • Ensure all Key Performance Indictors (KPI) for the contract are achieved in accordance with contractual obligations and budget requirements
  • Plan and coordinate the resources required for effective and efficient delivery of contractual requirements
  • Complete all required internal and external reporting requirements for the contract and present monthly KPI report to client
  • Attend client meetings and carry out client presentations in relation to our service offering and contract deliverables
  • Control and lead the management of all shutdowns performed on site, using appropriate tools to plan and report and communicate progress to client and Onsite stakeholders
  • Work with local management team to prioritise and allocate the completion of workshop jobs in accordance with service schedules and deadlines required to meet hires

To be successful in the role, ideally you will have -

  • Contract or project management experience
  • Previous experience working in an equipment sales/rental or large industrial business desirable, but not essential.
  • Previous experience managing tier 1 customers at a senior level
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to promote, influence and drive a positive safety culture
  • Exceptional planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills
  • Ability to use systems and complete system reporting requirements
  • Confident communicator
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible
