Perth, Western Australia Prism Consultants - Taxation, Account and Business Advisors Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

We are an established accounting practice based in Perth CBD looking for a self-motivated accountant to join our busy office. We provide accounting, taxation and business advisory services to a range of clients including individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and self-managed superfunds.

Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of MYOB AE, Xero, BGL software will be highly regarded. You will receive support & mentoring as well as opportunities for further career progression and training.

Roles and responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns across a range of entities
  • Knowledge and competence in MYOB AE software and superannuation software BGL 360
  • BAS / IAS, GST, FBT Returns and Payroll Tax
  • Xero tax and bookkeeping
  • Excellent communication skills to maintain professional client liaison and other regulatory authorities such as ASIC and ATO
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Ideal candidate requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • CPA / CA qualified candidate preferred.
  • Accounting or tax related degree and working towards CA/CPA qualification
  • Hardworking, honest and reliable
  • Proactive attitude and self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
