Project Engineer – Advanced Technology Products Pty Ltd (ATP)

Location: Australia (engineering projects across Australia and internationally)

Project Engineer
to help deliver world-class solutions.

Your Role

Reporting to the Senior Fire Engineer Design Leader, you'll be responsible for supporting the delivery of technical solutions, managing engineering documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards. You'll contribute to the design, execution, and commissioning of life and asset safety systems across both domestic and international projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and execute project Scope of Work across Australian and international sites.
  • Prepare and manage engineering deliverables and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Fire Engineer Design Leader, Engineering Manager, and Project Manager on value-add engineering and strategic problem-solving.
  • Develop Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Liaise with CAD Draftsman for drawing creation and revisions.
  • Ensure QA approval of all technical deliverables.
  • Report technical issues and constraints to the Senior Fire Engineer Design Leader.
  • Support project administration and procurement tracking.
  • Uphold ATP's ISO 9001:2008 compliance and relevant safety standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
  • Experience in project engineering within Oil & Gas, Mining, Industrial, Defence, or Renewables sectors.
  • Fire system experience highly desirable, including FDCIE, clean agent suppression, or related technologies.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness and ability to contribute to international project delivery.
  • Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented team player.
  • Commitment to quality, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
