About The Role

Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, this position executes planned mechanical maintenance tasks, breakdown repairs, and unscheduled equipment maintenance at Zenith Energy's power stations. The role ensures maintenance tasks are performed to the highest quality standards, contributing to equipment reliability.

This full-time salaried position requires working at operational sites within Western Australia, with the possibility of traveling to other locations as needed. The role operates on a 14-day on, 14-day off FIFO roster; however, the roster may be changed to meet operational requirements.

Since the sites operate 24/7, there may be occasions where attendance after hours is necessary. Compensation for these additional hours will be included in the salary.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Executing meticulously planned maintenance activities while adeptly managing unscheduled maintenance and breakdowns on power generation equipment and its ancillary systems.
  • Ensuring service records are diligently maintained and updated to reflect the highest standard of care.
  • Providing effective supervision of contractors and staff whenever needed, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Demonstrating unwavering commitment to Zenith's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and environmental policies, embodying the principles of sustainability and safety.
  • Taking an active role in cultivating a workplace that is consistently free from incidents, prioritizing the well-being of all team members at every turn.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience.
  • Engines rebuild, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
  • Customer relations and interpersonal skills.

Desirable

  • Field Service - remote location work
  • Gas Engine and gas systems
  • Competent in the use of Pronto CMMS or similar.
  • Power generation on a stationary engine system
  • Fuel system overhaul

Skills

  • Proficient use of MS Excel, Word, and Project skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent typing skills

Qualifications/Certificates/Licenses

  • Mechanical Trade Qualifications
  • Driver's License
  • National Police Clearance
  • Pre-employment Medical
  • Right to work in Australia. (No Sponsorship, or holiday visas accepted)

Desirable

  • Forklift License
  • High-risk work license that may include: OHC, Dogman, Rigging, Working at heights
  • Advance First Aid
  • Confined Space
