About the Role

Zenith Energy is seeking a dedicated Reliability Specialist to manage asset reliability risks that could impact plant operations and the business.

Reporting to the Asset Manager, the role specialises in Renewable Energy systems, such as Battery Energy Storage Systems, Wind Turbine Generators, and Photovoltaic Generation, and general Electrical Assets, while also supporting broader Asset Reliability initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Work as a key stakeholder within the Asset Management team to ensure the reliability and maintainability of Zenith's asset installations.
  • Lead efforts to ensure the reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, and facilities.
  • Reduce overhead expenses and budgets by tracking abnormally high maintenance cost assets and supplying solutions to reduce those losses or high costs
  • Collaborate with the Planning team to design and implement Asset Maintenance Strategies and Plans.
  • Contribute to a Risk Management Plan that identifies potential reliability and non-reliability risks affecting power supply.
  • Develop engineering solutions for repetitive failures and challenges impacting power delivery, utilising data analysis (Vibration, Thermographic, Data Log, and Asset Utilisation)
  • Provide technical support to operations and maintenance management.
  • Manage warranty programs and oversee the lifecycle and quality of rotable components.
  • Analyse fleet spares and administer the technical aspects of Framework Agreements with OEMs.

What We Need from You

Experience

  • Renewable/Alternative Power Generation Assets and associated control systems (BESS, WTG, PV) Operations and Maintenance
  • Comprehensive understanding of maintenance methodologies
  • Experience in carrying out Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Defect Elimination

Skills & Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Electrical Trade Qualification.
  • High-level diagnostic skills with PLC and SCADA systems.

  • Knowledge/Application of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and condition monitoring practices

  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Human Resources (HR) Policies and Procedures.
  • Knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (particularly PRONTO)

Desirable

  • Understanding and appreciation of Enterprise Asset Management Methodology
  • Understanding of Maintenance Planning, Scheduling Processes, and Reliability-Centered Maintenance Management
  • Spares and Inventory Management
  • Electrical Engineering Degree
  • Cert IV or tertiary qualification related to Asset Management or Business.
