**The Opportunity**

The Site Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and expertise to the workgroup. Duties include preparation and review of work packs, scoping, estimating, planning, reviewing and distribution and management of work scope through the management of UGL direct labour and or subcontractors, whilst ensuring adherence to safety compliance, procedures, policies and legislative requirements within the workgroup.

**Key responsibilities include**
- Ensuring all work carried out in relation to electrical equipment and installations within the area of responsibility is adequately supervised including electrical staff, contractors and labour hire employees.
- Report all safety incidents in a timely and prompt manner and be actively involved, lead incident investigation and improvement activities.
- Monitor the standard of the team workmanship to ensure that it is compliant to specification and that learnings are actively shared to continuously improve the quality of work standard on the site. The aim is flawless execution of the scope.
- Ensure team adherence to the client policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the day-to-day activity of the construction and maintenance teams as per the schedule. Identify and report deviations to the scheduler and initiate corrective action as required to bring the performance back onto plan.
- Update the schedule daily and by the timelines nominated.
- Actively align with the work with the Clients Operations PTW Department to prepare, isolate and de-pressurize (where relevant) plant processes.
- Ensure correct Materials, Machinery, Equipment and Tooling are available and suitable for the tasks to be undertaken.
- Lead team development processes to deliver a high-performance team culture.
- Monitor estimated man hours against actuals and ensure productivity is maximized.

**Requirements to be successful**
- 10 years minimum experience as a supervisor of a multi discipline team in the Engineering and Construction industry
- Electrical License
- Construction Awareness White Card
- Knowledge of Management methodologies, Tools, and techniques.
- C Class Drivers’ License.
- CERT III Instrumentation
- EEHA Certification
