**The Opportunity**
Provide site-based quality control, this includes leading the effective implementation of the Project Quality requirements and standards, processes and management plans.
The QA/QC Coordinator is responsible for ensuring quality is kept at the forefront of employees’ minds, ensure safe quality operational practices, processes, employee competency and training are in place and are being adhered to.
**Key responsibilities include**
- Provide direction and support to the site construction teams on quality controls
- Implementation and maintenance of site Quality Documentation
- Ensure that quality plans, inspection and verification activities are successfully implemented for all project scopes of work
- Ensure that all inspections, testing and verification activities are effectively managed and completed on schedule
- Commitment towards facilitating a safe working environment
- Participate in site audits when and where required
- Review and monitor site quality and scope execution compliance
- Provide reporting to the QA Manager on quality of works performed
- Provide status reporting to the QA Manager on the works under construction
- Ensure correct materials are being used in accordance with project specifications
**Requirements to be successful**
- Degree, Trade or certificate in a related discipline and experience working within the applicable codes
- Recognition as an inspector through an organisation such as CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2, AWS or WTIA
- Considerable experience (5+ years) in a Quality inspection role with organisational wide responsibilities
- Sound knowledge of Quality legislation, industry and best-practice standards and their relevance to the group
- Knowledge and expertise of Quality practices, standards, systems and processes relevant to the operations of construction teams
