  • Coordinate and manage regulatory reporting obligations, including National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) and the National Pollutant Inventory (NPI).

  • Collect, analyze, and report environmental data on a monthly basis; provide insights and support to leadership teams for the implementation of global environmental standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Conduct routine environmental inspections and audits to identify hazards, risks, and areas of non-compliance; recommend and implement corrective and preventative actions.

  • Lead or support investigations of environmental incidents, near-misses, and hazards requiring root cause analysis (RCA); drive the development of action plans to prevent recurrence.

  • Develop and deliver environmental education and awareness programs for internal stakeholders; contribute to project- and asset-related environmental initiatives.

  • Champion continuous improvement across environmental management systems, ensuring alignment with global standards, policies, and best practices.

  • Maintain and update the company's incident reporting and environmental performance systems (e.g., Intelex), ensuring accuracy and data integrity.

About you

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an environmental role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes in complex operational environments.

  • In-depth knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks, with the ability to apply this understanding to real-world situations.

  • Experience in contaminated land assessment and management, with a solid grasp of relevant investigation and remediation processes.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
