Zenergy has been retained by one of Australia's leading contracting and servicing businesses to undertake a market search for the newly created position of Group Health Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager. **Position**
As the Group HSE Manager, you will oversee and elevate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices across our organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and working with a strong ELT including a well-regarded people and culture director, your mandate encompasses driving cultural change, implementing strategic initiatives to reduce environmental impact, and ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. Drawing upon your extensive experience in safety leadership and management, you will navigate complex operational landscapes, establish business plans aligned with organisational goals, and drive performance improvement through collaboration with internal teams and external partners including large government clients.

**Group HSE Manager experience**
- Extensive experience in contemporary safety leadership and/or management working in a large-scale, high-risk organisation with a mix of insourced and outsourced delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and shape safety cultural change and in a large organisation. Proven track record of leading, influencing, and delivering programs.
- Experience in complex organisations, building effective relationships with Business Unit and central teams. Demonstrated ability to partner with executive teams, translate Strategy, and establish practical and pragmatic implementation plans
- Ability to see the bigger strategic picture and drive through practical execution, ensuring collaboration and co-creation with key stakeholders throughout the organisation.
- Experienced in establishing business plans, goals, and objectives that complement the overall direction of a multi-functional service organization. Demonstrated competence in developing and meeting key business/performance objectives.
- Proven ability to build relationships with external parties such as regulators and drive performance improvement with outsourced delivery partners.
