Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Cyber Security Program Manager with over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, including hands-on expertise in firewall design, configuration, and migration using technologies such as CISCO ASA/Firepower and Palo Alto Networks. This role will lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs, focusing on network security transformation and firewall modernization initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical depth and program leadership, capable of driving complex security projects while engaging with stakeholders across business and technology domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale cybersecurity programs, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget, with a focus on network security and firewall initiatives.
- Architect and oversee the design, deployment, and migration of enterprise firewall solutions, including CISCO ASA/Firepower and Palo Alto Networks, ensuring robust security and minimal operational impact.
- Partner with infrastructure, network, and business teams to align cybersecurity strategies with organizational goals and operational requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with firewall configurations, network segmentation, and perimeter security.
- Ensure firewall implementations adhere to regulatory and industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
- Manage relationships with firewall vendors and integrators, including contract negotiations, service delivery, and performance reviews.
- Develop and present program dashboards, risk assessments, and performance metrics to senior leadership and governance bodies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in network security and program management
- Proven hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and migrating CISCO and Palo Alto firewall solutions.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, intrusion prevention, segmentation, and threat mitigation.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, PCNSE, or CCNP Security.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
