About the role

Join the dynamic team at Deer Park as a Yard Forklift Operator. This full-time casual position is based at our modern facility in Deer Park, VIC 3023. As a Yard Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing the movement and storage of goods, ensuring seamless operations within our Yard and Dispatch area.

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move goods within the yard and warehouse
  2. Ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound goods, adhering to company policies and procedures
  3. Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate and prioritize tasks
  4. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, contributing to a safe and efficient warehouse
  5. Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as required
  6. Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Forklift Operator
  2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  3. Good communication and teamwork skills
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  5. Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
  6. Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to problem-solving
