For over 20 years, Aldig has delivered quality piling, basement, and concrete structure projects across Melbourne.  We are looking for a self motivated individual who enjoys working independently to work in our yard in Oakleigh South. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager and plays a key role in the day to day operations of our business.

Key duties:

  • Maintaining clean and organised yard and factory areas
  • Cleaning and recommissioning of heavy plant and equipment
  • Organising repairs and servicing of plant and equipment
  • Loading and unloading of Aldig trucks
  • Receiving, checking and storing deliveries
  • Occasional delivery to site
  • Stock control and ordering.

Role requirements:

  • Forklift licence
  • Car licence (truck licence preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Basic understanding of plant and equipment
  • Good time management skills, ability to prioritise and work well unsupervised
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic welding (preferred but not essential)

The position is full time but reduced hours can be negotiated for the right candidate.
