Reliable and hard-working Yard Hands wanted

Our client is seeking a motivated Yard Hand to assist with the upkeep and maintenance of their equipment and ensure smooth yard operations. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys physical work and doesn't mind getting their hands a little dirty. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check forklifts, EWP's (scissor, boom and vertical), and other equipment returned to the yard for damages.
  • Perform inspections using a provided checklist to ensure all equipment meets standards.
  • Hose down equipment to maintain cleanliness and presentation.
  • Support the maintenance team with day-to-day operations as required.

Successful Applicants

To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualities:

  • An eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring equipment is in top condition.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • White Card (Mandatory)
  • LF (Forklift) and EWP (Elevated Work Platform) tickets are highly desirable but not essential.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take on manual tasks in a yard environment.
  • Must be comfortable lifting up to 25kg
  • Must be available to work 7:30am - 4pm; Monday, Wednesday, Friday (with availability to take on more hours)
