Forklift Technician – Toyota Specialist

Location: Werribee & Epping Workshops + Onsite Hire Fleet

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forklift Technician to join our team Based between our Werribee and Epping workshops, with additional onsite work across our hire fleet, this role offers variety and hands-on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Toyota forklift models, ensuring their safe and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and safety checks
  • Identify and replace faulty or worn parts
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards
  • Work collaboratively with team members to provide efficient, high-quality service

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a forklift technician or similar role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Valid driver's licence required
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in varied conditions (including outdoors)
