Power Automate Developer – Contract Role

Hybrid – Parramatta | $1000–$1100 per day | Until 28 Nov 2025 | 40 hours per week

We're looking for an experienced Power Automate Developer to join on a contract basis and play a key role in delivering advanced automation solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and developing advanced Power Automate flows that integrate seamlessly across Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
  • Building, testing, and maintaining complex workflows, such as:
  • Monitoring shared mailboxes to trigger automated actions (e.g. creating DevOps tasks, sending customised emails).
  • Orchestrating Microsoft Forms submissions into business workflows.
  • Synchronising data between Azure DevOps and Excel.
  • Excel automation and VBA development to streamline processes while ensuring non-technical users can make manual adjustments if needed.
  • Systems integration across Azure DevOps, Microsoft Forms, Outlook, Excel, and other business applications.
  • Producing clear documentation and user guides for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Supporting Power BI dashboards and reporting where required.
  • Driving continuous improvement and governance, ensuring automations are reliable, scalable, and secure.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into solutions, and provide training or troubleshooting support.

What we're looking for

  • Expert-level experience in Power Automate (essential).
  • Expert VBA skills (essential).
  • Solid knowledge of Excel automation and integration with external systems.
  • Foundational Power BI skills to build and maintain reports/dashboards.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to communicate technical detail in a clear, structured way.
  • A collaborative approach and adaptability to manage evolving business requirements.
  • Proven ability to deliver robust, maintainable, and scalable automation solutions.
