Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Product Manager located in Parramatta, NSW. As the Product Manager at Phoenix Contact, you will be responsible for leading the development and growth of the Power Reliability product range including Surge Protection, Interface Components, and Power Supplies across Australia and New Zealand. This role ensures that our offerings continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers while aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from research and development to launch and ongoing support.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, and marketing teams to define product requirements and roadmaps.
- Develop and implement product strategies that maximise revenue, market share and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimise pricing, packaging and positioning.
- Create compelling product collateral, including specifications, user guides and marketing content.
- Provide technical support and training to the sales team to ensure effective product knowledge and positioning.
Qualifications
- Tertiary Qualification in Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Strong background in market analysis, strategy development, and product lifecycle management
- Proficiency in product development, definition of product requirements, and project management
- Experience with product positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
- Familiarity with the technology and automation sectors is a plus
- Innovative mindset with a customer-focused approach
