Solution Architect, Equip Platform

In this role, you'll:

• Ensure the right expertise is brought together in support of program deliverables for the SAP landscape, both from the internal pool of SMEs and partner network, including Platform, SaaS products and SAP competencies including but not limited to heterogeneous operating system and database, Integration platforms and capabilities, Development and Mobility Toolset, User Experience, Access and Controls and Technical Architecture.

• Contribute towards the development and delivery of the SAP architecture, high level and detailed level designs for SAP systems hosted on public cloud.

• Provide SAP Basis subject matter expertise for the following SAP applications including but not limited to S/4, SRM, CRM, Process Orchestration, Enterprise Portal, NetWeaver JAVA, Solution Manager, Gateway, GRC, SaaS offerings along with BTP.

• Pro-actively identify, mitigate, and manage risks and security concerns in public cloud SAP solutions.

• Work with the support partners to validate that the high availability and disaster recovery builds meet the business requirements.

• Review and achieve approval of all architecture, high level and detailed level design documentation within the SAP Basis and platform domains.

• Define, manage, and deliver the maintenance strategy covering both application and underlying IaaS to support partner(s).

• Define, manage, and deliver the automation capabilities as part of project deliverables.

• Collaborate with other Transport for NSW architecture, infrastructure, security, network, application managed services teams, business process and application product owners to gain key stakeholder support and approvals.

• The position is a Fixed Term Full Time contract until the 31/06/2026 and is based at Macquarie Park with Hybrid work arrangements (2-3 days a week in the office, but could extend up to 5 days in office to meet project timelines)

About you

• Stakeholder management expertise and experience to navigate through complex government processes combined with strong leadership skills with the ability to drive performance in complex, politically and commercially sensitive environment.

 

• Collaborate with cyber security group to strengthen security requirement(s)

 

• Extensive and demonstrated previous experience with SAP and related solutions architecture, business and systems requirements, and technical design and analysis in a complex and maturing technical environment, is highly desirable.

• SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) are advantageous.
