Hubert + Dan is a dynamic catering company passionate about delivering exceptional experiences for weddings, corporate functions, private events, and everything in between. We're on the lookout for a warm, detail-oriented, and experienced individual to join our Event Sales & Planning team.

This position is perfect for someone with a background in hospitality or event administration who thrives on bringing events to life through structured planning, clear communication, and creative problem-solving. Flexibility, initiative, and a collaborative mindset are key. The role can be full-time or part-time, with hours tailored to suit the right person.

About the Role

As part of our team, you will:

  • Manage and respond to event inquiries via email and phone

  • Prepare and send quotes and follow up to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings

  • Draft contracts and manage all client communication throughout the planning process

  • Handle detailed event logistics, including menu selection, run sheets, equipment hire, and bar service

  • Create and send invoices (booking deposits, instalments, final payments)

  • Keep our booking calendar organised and up-to-date

  • Liaise with other staff and suppliers as needed to ensure smooth event delivery

  • Maintain and update our customer database and internal planning tools

  • Assist with hire equipment for events

  • Help maintain website (Squarespace) and contribute copy for promotions or marketing

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and clients

What You Bring

  • Experience in hospitality, event planning, or event administration

  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines with ease

  • Familiarity with booking systems, planning tools, and Microsoft Outlook

  • A proactive approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Confidence using basic website platforms (Squarespace and Canva a bonus)
