YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a reliable and organised Transport Coordinator to join our Ground & Rail team in Wattle Grove WA. This is a fast-paced and hands-on role responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient day-to-day coordination of metro and regional deliveries, working across CEVA's contract carriers and 3PL partners.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

Coordinate daily allocation and scheduling of metro and regional transport consignments

Monitor all deliveries to ensure on-time performance and accurate confirmations

Ensure Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance, including driver training and process documentation

Collaborate with the Cross-Dock and Transport Operations teams to resolve service issues

Assist with time-slot bookings, pre-delivery audits, and operational administration

Communicate regularly with internal teams and customers to provide updates and manage expectations

Meet key operational KPIs including DIFOT, CoD, utilisation and cost-per-cube metrics.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate is process-focused, team-oriented and passionate about transport operations. You will also bring:

Higher School Certificate or equivalent; Certificate IV in Logistics or similar (desirable)

Minimum 5 years' experience in a transport, warehousing or logistics coordination role

Knowledge of transport operations and CoR compliance obligations

Strong communication and organisational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders

A willingness to work flexibly, including outside of standard business hours, to meet business or customer requirements.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
