Are You Passionate About RTO Quality and Compliance?

We're looking for a detail-driven and proactive professional to help uphold the integrity of nationally recognised training programs within the Public Transport Authority's Registered Training Organisation (PTA RTO).

In this dynamic role, you'll ensure all training is delivered in alignment with our Scope of Registration and the Standards for RTOs 2025. You'll be the key contact for managing learner records, generating qualifications and compliance reports, and supporting online assessment systems—
with platforms like Cloud Assess highly desirable

Your contribution will be vital in maintaining high standards across training delivery, including conducting RTO inductions, responding to quality and compliance queries, and facilitating validation sessions with confidence and professionalism.

This is a unique opportunity to work across compliance, learning and development, reporting, and administration. You'll play a central role in continuous improvement by coordinating stakeholder feedback, supporting audits, and assisting in the development of training resources. From managing mandatory RTO reporting to liaising with workplace trainers and ensuring data integrity, your work will directly impact the success of our nationally recognised programs.

About You

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Demonstrated expertise in learning and development, including the evaluation and review of adult learning programs. Well-versed in the Standards for RTOs 2025 and experienced in supporting compliance audits. Holds or is actively pursuing Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to groups of learners, facilitate validation sessions, and collaborate effectively with trainers, operational teams, and stakeholders. Skilled in maintaining constructive working relationships.
  • Highly organised, detail oriented, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate projects, and produce accurate reporting within deadlines. Committed to continuous improvement through process review and implementation.
  • Proficient in leveraging learning technologies within the VET sector, including Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems, and online assessment platforms such as Cloud Assess, to enhance learner engagement and streamline assessment processes.

There is currently one fixed term opportunity available to 30 September 2028 with the possibility of renewal and/or permanency. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies on a fixed term or permanent basis that may arise within the next 12 month
