About the role

As a Transport Supervisor at Marlu Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the company's transport fleet. This is a full time position based in our Perth, WA office with the occasional travel throughout the Pilbara. In this critical role, you will ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods while managing a team of drivers and supporting staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily transport schedules, rosters and liaise with clients.
  • Act as the first point of contact for drivers to troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Manage and update software systems, including all pre starts, timekeeping, fatigue management.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the transport team to ensure deliveries are made on time and to specification
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

  • Must live in Western Australia
  • Previous experience in transport, supervising company drivers and subcontractors
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Safety Leadership: Champion safety protocols and maintain the highest safety standards across all operations
  • Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional service delivery to internal and external customers
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a positive workplace culture
  • Operational Planning: Coordinate and optimize transport operations, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to company policies accreditations with industry regulations
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Knowledge of transport compliance, WHS standards, and industry regulations
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in FIFO/mine site transport or shutdowns (preferred)
