• Remuneration: from $172,353 (commensurate with experience) + 15% superannuation

ActewAGL is seeking a strategic and collaborative individual with excellent communication skills to drive our resilience framework and ensure we are prepared for anything – from crisis to recovery. In this role, you will:

• Lead and continuously improve ActewAGL's Business Resilience Framework to ensure it remains robust and fit-for-purpose.
• Drive business continuity planning, including Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), risk assessments, and testing protocols.
• Coordinate crisis and incident response activities, support executive decision-making, and lead post-incident reviews.
• Promote a culture of resilience through training, awareness initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage resilience tools and technologies, including Noggin 2.0, and explore innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operational, safety, risk, legal, and executive teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including Emergency Services, ACT Government, regulators, and strategic partners.

About You

You will bring:

• Relevant qualifications in risk management, business continuity, emergency/crisis management, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in business continuity and emergency/crisis management, ideally within the energy or critical infrastructure sectors.
• Proven ability to conduct BIAs and resilience assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
• Experience in coordinating incident response and recovery efforts.
• Strong facilitation skills in training and exercising crisis response teams.
• Deep understanding of resilience frameworks such as ISO 22301.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to the energy/utilities sector.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
