Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Future Fund Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

About Future Fund

At the Future Fund, we're for future minds - like yours. The new investors and creators who thrive on different thinking and doing it together. Those who glimpse opportunity before it strikes and step up every day to grab it.

The Future Fund is Australia's Sovereign Wealth Fund, managing over $310 billion across seven public asset funds with the same purpose: growing Australia's future. We are a global investor and work closely with world leading investment organisations to access the best investment ideas.

Where others see challenges, we see more interesting investment experiences. Every person, every skillset, every mindset is an asset. We've got every future generation to consider, yet our approach to investing is incredibly pure: we think about it deeply, and daily. Ours is a culture where great people grow the future together, with the rare ability to work collaboratively, think freely, and make a real difference.

Are you Futureminded? Let's create what's next.

The Opportunity

The Future Fund is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join the Corporate Technology team. In this pivotal role, you will support and optimise technology solutions across a range of enabling functions, including Legal, Enterprise Risk & Compliance, Corporate Affairs, People, Culture & Inclusion, Knowledge Management, and Business Operations. Reporting to the Strategy & Planning Manager, you will help guide the technical direction of applications, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and adherence to governance processes. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside global thought leaders, contribute to strategic initiatives, and drive impactful change in a high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a range of stakeholders to identify, analyse and prioritise opportunities for improvement. Ensuring that our technology solutions are effective and efficient in supporting business needs.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements (e.g., APIs, integrations) and provide subject matter expertise for technology solutions, bridging the gap between business needs and IT capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities; including enhancements, upgrades, patching, configuration and technical governance.
  • Partner with Pillar Managers and draw on organisational expertise to optimise system functionality.
  • Maintain and update documentation for technology solutions.
  • Ensure solutions address non-functional requirements such as security, availability, reliability, recoverability and usability.
  • Oversee the appropriate handover of solutions to support teams and contribute to solution reviews
  • Contribute to the maintenance of business operations, data and technology standards and policies.

About You

  • You hold a tertiary qualification in engineering, technology, business administration, or a related discipline; with relevant certifications in business analysis, technology, or project management considered desirable.
  • You bring an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to enable your communications across complex technology concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders,
  • You build strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • You have worked across a range of technology application improvement roles (e.g. consulting, system administration)
  • You have experience developing or improving technology platforms, including learning new applications to write technical requirements and solution summaries, and perform system configuration when relevant.
  • You are comfortable working in complex change environments with multiple, interdependent projects, and managing competing demands across the full project lifecycle.
  • You have experience delivering multi-year programs which impacted multiple business units (e.g. Human Resources, Finance, CRM, Knowledge Management, Legal)

Please note that this opportunity is only open to Australian Citizens.

Life at Future Fund

At Future Fund, we are better for our differences. Every person, every skillset, every mindset is an asset. We want everyone to feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work. Which is why we're looking for future minds like yours. Your past experiences help us expand our collective knowledge, add value and create something better. And we want you to be part of it.
