Looking for Catering/Market Manager. Details of pay will be discussed among successful candidates. Hours may vary depending on the number of clients and their requirements.

Catering Operations

  • Manage day-to-day catering activities, from inquiry to delivery and post-event feedback.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including staffing, setup, menu planning, and equipment transport.
  • Liaise with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate and private clients.
  • Prepare catering proposals, quotations, and event summaries.
  • Oversee food safety, storage, and hygiene compliance during catering operations.

Market & Events Management

  • Plan and manage participation in local markets, festivals, and pop-up events.
  • Coordinate stall setup, product display, and promotional materials.
  • Manage inventory, product rotation, and customer engagement at market events.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide reports to management.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in catering management, hospitality, or events coordination.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling standards.
  • Basic financial literacy and administrative skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event hours as required.

Preferred Qualifications.

  • Experience with social media marketing or community engagement.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transport.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
