**Role Title**:ASSISTANT FOH CATERING MANAGER

**Role reports to**: FOH MANAGER, GENERAL MANAGER

**Role purpose**:
This role can utilise their skills and appropriate equipment to deliver a quality food and beverage service to our customers and clients daily. This requires direct supervision and mentoring of F&B team to ensure efficient management of each function/event.

**Direct reports**:FOH Supervisors, Food and Beverage Attendants

**Salary Package**: $70,000 - $80,000
**Working Roster**: Tuesday to Saturday (Sun/Mon RDO - Some events are held on Sun/Mon so this can vary)
**Working Hours per fortnight**: 90hrs

**Role & Duties Required**:

- Overseeing a team of Supervisors reporting directly to you
- Working onsite for events where needed - 95% Onsite expectation.
- Encourage and support your FOH team of staff.
- Manage staff labour onsite
- Ensure FOH employees have the appropriate skills and training needed to perform to our standard.
- Onboarding and Training of new staff
- Follow up on Supervisors Reporting
- Monitor and adhere to all OH&S updates.
- Perform other duties within your capabilities as required by Manager.
- Exhibit safety leadership skills & adhere to all policies and procedures around this.
- Keep FOH team engaged and updated with all details on the business and Policies.

**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Open Australian Drivers Licence
- Valid QLD RSA
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Prior Food Hygiene training and/or accreditation
- Rostering and administration experience is highly regarded.
- Proven ability to manage a team of up to 40 staff.
- Previous Hospitality Management or Supervisory experience in FOH Roles is a must.
- Experience and ability to lead and mentor teams.
- Experience in a similar role
- A passion for great food and wine and knowledge of the current trends
- Hard working, physically fit and reliable
- Flexible approach and attitude
- Good & Open Communication skills
- Team player and able to work autonomously.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to deal with clients and staff at all levels, demographics, and ages.
- Previous Event/Function experience - from small to large events
- Hospitality Event or F&B Qualifications
- Food Safety Supervisor Certification
- RMLV / AML
