With integrity and dedication, you will:

  • Oversee reactive and preventative maintenance programs to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

  • Coordinate contractors and maintenance staff, managing workflows and ensuring tasks are completed on time.

  • Carry out maintenance tasks and inspections to keep buildings, equipment and grounds in top condition.

  • Monitor safety practices and compliance with WHS standards and Anglicare's Contractor Handbook.

  • Maintain accurate records and stock levels, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.

  • Build positive relationships with residents, demonstrating empathy, respect and professionalism.

  • Support a values-driven workplace that promotes teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring

You are a hands-on professional who takes pride in creating well-maintained environments that enhance residents' wellbeing. You work safely, communicate clearly and lead with integrity, care and attention to detail.

You will also need:

  • WHS General Construction White Card.

  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Current NSW Driver's Licence.

  • Basic knowledge of plant and equipment used in the building industry.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience supervising maintenance operations or contractors in aged care or similar settings.

  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.

  • A proactive, customer-focused approach and a commitment to Anglicare's values of Integrity, Justice, Compassion and Excellence.
