**About the role**:
Based at our facility in Cannon Hill, we are currently seeking an afternoon shift **Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor **for our Maintenance team. This role reports to the Engineering Manager. This role supervises a team of mechanical and electrical trade’s people on a daily basis.

This position involves:

- Set and deliver planned maintenance schedules
- Breakdown management
- Reliability improvement initiatives
- Driving a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Ensuring a productive and positive team spirit including a high level of moral and participation
- Ensuring safe work practices and Standard Operational Procedures are followed at all times

The nature of this role demands a self-motivated, decisive person with a “can do” attitude with the ability to work with and lead a team to produce results.
- Strong people management skills along with organisational and communication skills
- Experience and a desire to learn problem solving, maintenance trouble-shooting and continuous improvement principles
- Trade qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate)
- Experience working within a CMMS system
- Proven leadership and communication skills to lead a skilled team
- Demonstrable fault finding and root cause analysis skills
- Commitment to workplace health and safety by working in a safe manner at all times
- Ability to lead and mentor your team to consistently meet targets
