IT / System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable System Administrator / IT Support professional to join Chop Shop Post - one of Queenslands premier Film and Television Post Production studios.
This role requires someone who thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments and is comfortable supporting a diverse, multi-OS infrastructure across Rocky Linux, Windows, and macOS.
The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset to systems maintenance, user support, and IT process improvement.
- Proven experience in a System Admin or IT Support role.
- Ability to work effectively under high pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, GPOs, and user account management.
- Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting across multi-OS environments (Linux [preferably Rocky], Windows, and macOS).
- Experience with Unifi wireless systems and basic access management tools.
- Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of VFX pipelines and infrastructure (e.g., networked storage, render farm support, user environment configurations, etc.).
- Experience in creative production environments (film, animation, game dev, etc.).
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) or basic automation workflows.
