The Opportunity

As General Manager, Gateway, you'll lead the strategic, financial, and operational performance of both the Office Tower and Retail Centre, driving customer experience, asset value, and team engagement.

Located in the heart of Circular Quay, Gateway Sydney is a landmark dining precinct and mixed-use destination. The precinct sits at the base of Gateway Tower, a premium 42,000 sqm office building, and includes a 197-space underground car park. Open seven days a week from early until late, Gateway is a vibrant hub for locals, professionals, and visitors alike.

You will make an impact by:

  • Developing and executing property investment strategies aligned with owner objectives.
  • Driving financial and operational performance across the precinct, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and customer focus.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants, agencies, and key stakeholders.
  • Overseeing leasing, rent reviews, and strategic planning to maximise asset performance.

About You

You're a strategic and commercially minded property professional with a passion for leading high-performing teams and delivering strong investment outcomes. Your deep industry experience and ability to influence, negotiate, and drive performance will be key to your success in this role.

You'll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, property economics, finance or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.
  • Proven senior leadership experience with the ability to build and guide a high-functioning, customer-focused team.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience presenting complex ideas to senior audiences.
  • Solid understanding of property markets, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and managing property investment risk.
