About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic
General Manager
to oversee daily operations, drive business performance, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve long-term goals. This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, operational excellence, and the ability to manage financial and organizational growth within the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee business operations, strategy execution, and performance outcomes.
  • Lead and manage multiple departments to ensure efficiency and alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational improvements.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to team members.
  • Monitor financial performance and collaborate with finance teams for forecasting and reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with Australian regulations, workplace standards, and policies.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Identify new market opportunities and growth strategies.
  • Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and external partnerships.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, or Senior Leader.
  • Strong understanding of Australian business regulations and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial planning, and business strategy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in business expansion, transformation, or change management.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employee engagement strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM/ERP tools or business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience with P&L management and financial reporting.
