Job Title: Senior Sales Manager - Australian Market (Preference for Book Publishing Services industry)

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies for the Australian market, including annual sales targets, market expansion, and business growth initiatives.
  • Manage and inspire the Australian regional sales team, ensuring achievement of team goals, enhanced sales performance, and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key customers in Australia, driving long-term partnerships, customer loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor activities in Australia; provide regular market insights and strategic recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (marketing, product, supply chain, etc.) to deliver tailored customer solutions and maximize business outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, International Trade, Business Management, or related fields; MBA preferred.
  • Native or fluent English communication skills with strong cross-cultural competence.
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role; proven success in the Australian market is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of the Australian business environment, including local regulations, commercial culture, and customer needs.
  • Strong business acumen with proven ability to develop and execute market strategies; prior experience establishing regional markets from the ground up is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and grow high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.
  • Resilient, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in CRM, ERP, and MS Office; solid data analysis capabilities are an advantage.
  • Candidates with slightly less experience may be considered for senior manager or equivalent roles.
