Jacobs is seeking a Senior Principal Project Leader to lead the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects across key market sectors. This role offers the opportunity to shape outcomes that matter, driving innovation and building lasting partnerships with clients. This position can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.

As a Senior Principal Project Leader, you'll manage projects through the full spectrum of the life cycle, delivering within time, cost, and scope expectations. You'll establish and oversee systems for identifying, managing, and monitoring risks across project outcomes, safety, management, and design. Compliance with Jacobs' standards and client-specific quality assurance requirements will be central to your approach, ensuring our certifications are maintained and our reputation upheld.

You'll be a trusted partner to clients, public and private and building strong relationships and contributing to project teams either client-side or as a delivery partner.

Your ability to monitor feedback and engage teams to respond will help ensure consistent excellence in client experience. You'll also play a key role in promoting Jacobs' brand and capability, with a nationally recognised professional profile and a pathway toward global recognition.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the production of engineering design deliverables and reports, ensuring they meet statutory requirements and client expectations. You'll establish complex systems for managing multidisciplinary project documentation, data control, and legal compliance, while driving adherence to business systems. Managing large-scale budgets with detailed work breakdown structures, you'll interpret financial statements and collaborate with commercial teams to evaluate drivers and ensure profitability.

During construction and commissioning phases, you'll support field work by coordinating the review of drawings and documents across design and engineering teams. You'll also contribute to proposals and tenders, preparing scopes, pricing, and coordinating subcontractor input.

You'll build effective project teams, mentor talent, and contribute to the technical, operational, and commercial capability of others. You'll advise on technical resourcing and provide guidance to graduates and junior engineers on their path to chartership.

Safety in design will be embedded in your practices, and you'll articulate client digital delivery (BIM) requirements, engaging the right people and resources to deliver using your broad experience in multi-disciplinary, multi-organisation digital projects.
