We're on the lookout for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join the crew at Clancy's Fish Pub Canning Bridge — a much-loved riverside pub known for good food, cold beer, live music, and great company.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the Venue Manager in day-to-day operations across bar, floor, and kitchen
  • Leading and motivating a passionate team with energy and professionalism
  • Driving great customer experiences through genuine hospitality
  • Assisting with rostering, stock control, compliance, and staff training
  • Bringing ideas to the table to keep our venue vibrant and running smoothly

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a busy hospitality venue
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A hands-on approach — you're the type to jump behind the bar or lend a hand on the floor when needed
  • RSA and Approved Manager certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • A love for live music, seafood, and local community vibes
