Location:
This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work 1-2 days in the office, and the remaining days from home.

About the role

, who is based in Sydney and leads our APAC Finance team. Helen brings strategic vision and a results-driven approach to leadership, consistently delivering value through robust financial management and effective project execution. Her commitment to excellence and continuous improvement drives success across the region.

As the
APAC Systems & Projects Manager
, you will be responsible for leading and delivering key finance transformation initiatives across the APAC region, including the ERP system upgrade, Chart of Accounts (COA) redesign, and the financial integration of acquisitions. A critical aspect of this role is serving as the primary interface between APAC and the U.S. head office, ensuring all projects are aligned with global policies, standards, and compliance requirements. We will count on you to ensure project success through robust accounting governance, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, supporting Insight's strategic growth and operational excellence.  Along the way, you will get to:

• Partner with finance, IT, operations and multiple business stakeholders to drive change, ensure compliance, and deliver timely, accurate project outcomes in a dynamic environment
• Facilitate regular communication, reporting, and alignment meetings with U.S. finance and project leadership to ensure seamless rollout and adoption of global initiatives.
• Lead APAC's participation in the global ERP upgrade, ensuring regional requirements (tax, reporting, compliance) are captured and implemented.
• Manage the redesign and harmonization of the APAC COA, aligning with global standards and supporting future scalability.
• Lead the financial integration of acquisitions, including GL account mapping, policy alignment, and close process planning.

• Act as primary liaison for internal and external audits related to systems and projects.

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting and full membership in CPA or CA.

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance, with 5+ years in a managerial or project-based role.

• Demonstrated experience in ERP implementations / upgrades, COA redesign, and/or acquisition integration.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and statutory compliance in APAC jurisdictions.
• Advanced analytical and MS Excel skills.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement and manage complex projects.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with global or U.S. head office teams to ensure alignment with corporate policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to serve as the primary interface between regional and global teams.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multinational environments and manage competing priorities.
