About us:

Brightscope HR is currently seeking a Labourer to start ongoing work immediately at one of Australia's leading manufacturers and suppliers of civil products.

About the role:

  • Monday to Friday schedule
  • Day shift:  6:30am to 3:00pm
  • Great culture, close-knit team
  • Temp to perm role
  • Full training provided
  • Weekly pay

Duties include but not limited:

  • Working with large concrete moulds pouring multiple types of cements to manufacture specific concrete structures for civil/construction works
  • Will be working with/in custom pits to manufacture concrete structures using pre-made moulds in order to meet job order requirements.
  • Will have to work with rebar and steel fixings, inserting it into concrete structures prior to pouring for reinforcement.
  • Will be preparing and adjusting custom moulds using hand and power tools
  • Will also be responsible for removing finished products from moulds and cleaning used moulds in preparation for other products.

To be considered for this role:

  • Must have hand and power tool exp. & competency
  • Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25kgs where required (cranes and forklifts onsite for additional lifting assistance)
  • Forklift Licence is essential (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must be comfortable working both inside and outside with exposure to the elements
  • Must have own car and valid driver's licence.
  • Manufacturing / warehouse and/or construction experience preferred.
