Join Our Dynamic Team
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating production schedules, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production & Vendor Scheduling: Respond dynamically to changes in production needs whilst closely managing key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components required for production, reducing delays and maintaining consistent workflow.
- Compliance to food safety and quality requirements: Training the team of 10+ employees to always be safe and compliant, whilst enhancing speed and efficiency for production runs.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, work with vendors and internal teams to implement solutions that improve material flow, delivery timelines, quality standards, cost expectations.
- Production Planning and Labour Resource Planning: Collaborate closely with Planning Team to ensure schedules align with production targets and customer demand, optimizing plant utilization and minimizing downtime, creating schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2+ years relevant experience in food manufacturing environment
- Experience in relevant production planning and vendor scheduling - food experience highly regarded
- Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement and process improvement
- Strong understanding of Food Quality & Safety systems and standards
- Experience in driving high safety culture and applying safe work policies

- Work-Life Balance: As we are in a manufacturing facility, the role requires you on-site daily. However, we are flexible in the part time daily hours (e.g. 8am to 2pm, 9am to 2:30pm, etc.).
