Sydney, New South Wales, Australia We United Aus Pty Ltd Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

About Us

United for Care is a fast-growing, values-led NDIS provider. We support people with disability to live independently and with dignity, across a range of housing and community-based settings. Our teams work hard, move fast, and care deeply about the impact we make every day.

About the Role

We're hiring a NDIS Plan & Claiming Specialist to take ownership of participant plans – from setup through to ongoing reviews, coordination and claiming.

This is a client-facing role requiring strong stakeholder relationship skills. You'll be working directly with Support Coordinators, guardians, plan managers and families — often navigating complex and sensitive situations.

You'll also liaise across our internal teams (Service Delivery, Finance, Risk & Compliance) to keep plans up to date, claimable, and aligned to the right supports.

This role suits someone who thrives under pressure, can manage competing priorities, and has a strong grasp of both the NDIS landscape and the basics of funding/claiming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the setup, structure, and ongoing management of participant plans
  • Track plan usage, expiry dates, reviews, and funding changes
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in NDIS claiming and funding categories
  • Work across Service Delivery, Finance, and Risk to resolve issues quickly
  • Spot and fix process gaps to improve participant and team outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, PRODA, and related systems

About You

  • Strong account management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experienced working with complex and high-pressure client relationships
  • NDIS background with working knowledge of plans, funding categories, and claiming
  • Basic finance/claiming experience (NDIS claims, funding utilisation tracking)
  • Confident with systems and managing participant data
  • Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Skilled communicator – able to handle sensitive conversations with professionalism

Why Join Us

  • Fast-moving, impact-driven team
  • Hybrid working model – CBD-based office with flexibility
  • Strong support from leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Opportunities to improve and shape how we deliver support
  • Real impact behind the scenes – make your work matter
