We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly adaptable Construction Administrator to join our team. This newly created pivotal role is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience and who is looking to establish themselves with a successful local franchise.

About the Role
Our Construction Administrator will be a key player in ensuring our projects run smoothly and efficiently, handling a variety of tasks where priorities can shift quickly. The role has been created to provide administrative support to our onsite supervisors. This is currently a Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 3 pm office-based role in Warragul, offering a consistent and structured work week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier and Client Communications: Act as a central point of contact for supervisors, managing material orders, weekly client updates, and documenting project variations.
- Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified from site feedback. This includes following up on material deliveries and managing the process for owner-supplied items.
- Financial and Approval Tasks: Manage invoice follow-ups and recharges, to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Scheduling and Logistics: Support the scheduling of our internal carpenters and laborers,managing their calendars. You will also coordinate gas and power connections with electrical authorities.

About You
- Experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction or building industry.
- Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail.
- Strong adaptability and flexibility to handle shifting priorities and a dynamic daily workload.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with project management software (experience with Buildertrend is a plus).
- Ability to multitask and manage completing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
