About the role

Join the OSB Group as a Civil Construction Plant, Labour and Material Delivery Coordinator, based in our East Perth, WA office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for coordinating the deployment and managing of plant, equipment and labour resources and organising delivery of materials to support our civil construction projects across Western Australia.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the mobilisation and transport of construction plant, equipment and labour to various mine sites across WA
  • Managing documents and database for plant to monitor plant status and ensuring servicing, maintenance and registrations are up to date to enable efficient process for submission of mobilistion paperwork
  • Ordering, booking and coordinating transport of material deliveries for mobile batch plants as required by site, materials include cement, aggregates and other material required for concrete batching
  • Coordinate the recruitment, onboarding, mobilisation and rostering of construction labourers to support project demands
  • Mobilisation process includes organising medicals, receiving and filing staff documents, completing mobilisation paperwork and submitting to client
  • Liaise with project managers, supervisors and site teams to allocate resources accordingly
  • Coordinating rosters and booking flights with client and forwarding flight bookings to staff

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Plant or Labour Coordinator in the construction industry, preferably within civil or mining projects
  • Strong understanding of construction plant, equipment and labour requirements and their effective deployment
  • Excellent planning, scheduling and problem-solving skills to optimise resource utilisation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen and cost-consciousness to drive operational efficiency
  • Proficient in the use of construction management software and data analysis tools
