THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading partner of the Australian plastics industry, specialising in supplying high-quality raw plastic to manufacturers since 1997 is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a supportive team in South Melbourne.

Located opposite Albert Park Lake, close to public transport. This is an onsite position, hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the General Manager Customer Service and Logistics, the position of Logistics Coordinator is a pivotal role, that provides support to the commercial team by managing logistics activities, ensuring quality management, and maintaining compliance in line with operations strategy. Experience with Imports and Shipping Essential.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in logistics, particularly in imports.
  • Working knowledge of Incoterms, Bills of Lading, Shipping Documents, and Letters of Credit.
  • Experience in dealing with warehouses and transport companies.

  • Computer literacy: Intermediate proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
