Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Senior Manual Test Engineer, located in Melbourne, Australia. The Senior Manual Test Engineer will be responsible for executing test cases, performing functional testing, and ensuring the quality and performance of various applications through rigorous testing processes. Daily tasks will involve crafting and executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases for complex financial applications
  • Perform functional, regression, and system integration testing
  • Collaborate closely with development and business teams to ensure product quality
  • Log, track, and manage defects to closure using standard tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Ensure testing aligns with compliance and financial standards

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Test Engineering, Test Execution, and Testing methodologies
  • Experience in crafting and executing Test Cases
  • Strong Functional Testing skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document issues comprehensively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Relevant certifications in testing would be beneficial
