Senior Test Engineer – Mobile Apps (Automation & Functional)

Location:
Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne (3 days onsite)

CloudMarc is looking for a Senior Test Engineer with hands-on experience across mobile app testing — both automation and functional — to join one of our leading enterprise clients based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative Agile environment, ensuring quality across mobile applications that support millions of users nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for iOS and Android applications.
  • Build and enhance automated test suites for mobile apps using frameworks such as Appium, Playwright, or Selenium.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing within Agile sprints.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers to identify defects early and support continuous improvement.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in mobile application testing (both manual and automated).
  • Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks (Appium, Playwright, Espresso, or XCUITest).
  • Strong knowledge of testing principles, SDLC/STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to test across functional, regression, and UI layers.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
