Role Description

The role of a Learning Support Officer at Trinity Lutheran College requires the successful applicant is to help students achieve their learning objectives. The Learning Support Officer works at the direction of the classroom teacher. The schedule and program of each Learning Assistant is managed by the LEAP (Learning Enhancement Action Program) Coordinator.

The position requires the successful applicant to be professional in working collaboratively across Primary year levels.

This role requires a dynamic member, capable of building relationships with all staff, teachers and students, to support the inquiry process.

Qualifications

Qualifications in Education Support, minimum Cert 3 and/or experience in the field


• Hold a current Working with Children's Check (employee)


• Be willing to obtain and maintain First Aid Certification


• Support and comply with Victorian Child Safe Standards.


• Support the Christian Ethos of the college and meet all expectations outlined in the Staff Code of Conduct.


• Ability to follow directions, prioritize tasks effectively, and engage with a diverse range of personnel through strong interpersonal skills.
