About CISVic

CISVic is the peak body for the community information and support sector in Victoria. We provide advocacy, representation, sector development, and operational support to member agencies that assist people experiencing personal and financial hardship. The opportunity

You will help build capability and sustainability across the sector by coordinating engagement activities, developing practical resources and communications, and contributing to best-practice projects with CISVic member agencies. You will report to the Sector Development Manager and represent CISVic in networks and working groups.

Key responsibilities

· Build and maintain strong relationships with member agencies and stakeholders.

· Share and promote best practice through resources, forums, and training.

· Develop and maintain communication tools and resources (including the CISVic eBulletin).

· Support project design, data collection and analysis, and reporting.

· Promote fundraising opportunities and assist with grant writing.

· Represent CISVic on working groups and advisory committees.

About you

· Qualification in welfare, community development, or social sciences (diploma or degree).

· Experience in community or frontline service delivery.

· Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

· Understanding of structural poverty and social/emergency relief services in Australia.

· Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong organisational skills.

· Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally safe practice.
