Operations Support Officer

SEM Group is a respected and well established South Australian owned and operated civil construction company with a reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Operations Support Officer to join our team.

This full-time position plays a key and pivotal role in supporting daily operations, coordinating plant and labour resources across multiple worksites, and ensuring our asset and service records are accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate plant, labour and truck bookings in response to project needs.

  • Input daily site sheets including staff allocation, plant usage and breakdown statuses.

  • Schedule and track servicing of vehicles, machinery and small plant.

  • Liaise directly with Stores for equipment calibration and maintain accurate records.

  • Communicate with subcontractors and labour hire companies to ensure adequate resourcing.

  • Maintain service and repair documentation in SkyTrust.

  • Assist with the coordination of float truck movements.

  • Process purchase orders and associated documentation.

  • Maintain registers for small plant and equipment.

  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

About You:

  • Experience in operations support, plant coordination and/or construction admin is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Confidence using document management systems (SkyTrust advantageous).

  • A proactive approach and ability to manage competing priorities.
