OrthoticSA is a leading provider of orthotics and prosthetics services in South Australia. We provide rehabilitation support to clients with injuries and disabilities and specialise in the manufacture and fitting of Medical bracing, and Prosthetic limbs.

**Position: Medical Receptionist**
**Part-time/Full-Time | Immediate Start Available**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Welcome patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere.
- Manage patient bookings, including scheduling appointments and maintaining the clinic calendar.
- Respond to phone calls, offer relevant information, and route calls to the appropriate staff as needed.
- Process patient intake, including updating personal and medical information.
- Assist with billing and insurance-related inquiries, processing payments, and providing receipts.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and managing patient records in compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure a smooth flow of patients and assist in preparing treatment rooms.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patients' needs are addressed promptly.
- **Knowledge of NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)** and experience with related processes is highly desirable.

**Qualifications & Skills**:
**Essential**
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A compassionate and empathetic attitude toward patients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

**Desirable**
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer-facing role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with medical software and office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of orthotics and prosthetics services (or willingness to learn) is an advantage.
- **NDIS knowledge or experience** is a plus.

Pay: $23.23 - $32.89 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 2 years (required)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

- Australia (required)
